Grace of Monaco is the story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly’s crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco’s Prince Rainier III and France’s Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s.
Frank is a 2014 British-Irish comedy-drama film directed by Lenny Abrahamson and starring Domhnall Gleeson, Maggie Gyllenhaal,Scoot McNairy and Michael Fassbender as the title character. The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was released on 9 May 2014 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Plot: Frank follows Jon, a young man with a strong interest in music, as he joins an eccentric band called “Soronprfbs” led by the title character Frank.The film begins with would-be musician Jon invited to join the band right before a concert, only asked if he is able to play a few chords. Joining the band, they move to Ireland to record an album, where Jon begins posting videos on the internet of the band’s rehearsal sessions. During the film, Twitter posts made by Jon appear on the screen.
“90s Music” – the first single from Kimbra’s The Golden Echo – is a misleading introduction in more ways than one. The off-kilter danciness of the track reminds me of Kanye West’s “Power”, in that it’s the kind of pop song that manages to combine infectious glee with intentional abrasiveness; it simultaneously sounds like it should be atop the charts and that it shouldn’t have ever made it to pop radio.
There’s nothing else like “90s Music” on The Golden Echo, but I suppose that isn’t especially surprising when there are few songs like “90s Music”, period. The title is somewhat misrepresentative too: aside from “Nobody But You” – which could have easily been (over) produced two decades ago – Kimbra’s sophomore record takes more inspiration from the 70s and 80s. I have had several requests by some friends to start posting reviews on the new TV shows that I watch. That is why I started this blog….I know, this is only my third post here…but I will try to keep up and post more often.
Since the DVR is the best invention of the 21st century, I find myself watching more TV than anyone should be allowed. When I see an interesting trailer or hear by word of mouth about a good show I record it. But if you don`t have the possibility to record your shows, the Internet offers an alternative- torrents (either public or private) or release sites which provide direct download links or even streaming links. Also you can find your shows in different video or audio formats like dvdrip, 720 or 1080p (Bluray). Some sites even offer subtitles for some episodes (hardsubbed). Let`s say, if you are French or Canadian or, I don`t know, you live in a country which has French as an official language you will want to search of fastsub vostfr episodes.
But enough about that…Let`s start!!!
